Justin Meccia was born in Fredericksburg, Virginia in 1980. But that’s not the reason for this blog.
He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2004 but that’s not the reason, either.
He graduated from UNCW with a B.A. in Film Studies, and although it’s cool, that’s not the reason for this blog.
He hasn’t ate a McDonald’s hamburger since 1996, but, while healthy, that’s not the reason.
He has voted in every election since he was 18, and while noble, that’s not the reason.
He hosted one of the most popular local talk radio talk shows in South Eastern North Carolina from 2007-2008, but that’s not the reason he writes anymore.
In 2010 his life began to change. One small piece at a time, and over a year God presented to Justin a much better plan.
“Josh, I have been driving on the road of life for years and have not been happy with one journey. Suddenly, after passing out at a rest stop, I awoke to God in the driver’s seat, and he’s taking me on the journey of my life.
I am in the passenger seat of the car that is my life, and it is becoming the ride of my life.“
-Justin Meccia, circa Late-Summer, 2010
That’s where the reason begins.
For, that’s the greatest CHANGE anyone can ever experience in their life. Ever.
That’s worth writing about. 🙂
